‘Rooms filled with shadow echo of the sweet murmurings of terrible girls, trapped in the pink dream of enchanted chambers. There’s an organism regulating passage in these quarters, a magical plant. It disappears when materialised, as everything grows and reaches for infinity. Before my time, two sisters discovered its secret. Their mother was a pianist, of a family of talented musicians, always afraid of composing new music because of the inevitable confrontation with the past. So she decided to take some time off and left the girls with relatives for a whole summer. These relatives had big hands and few words to utter. Day after day the girls, silvery like dawn, became more lonely and savage.’
